It was an exciting weekend in England full of drama. It first started at the Emirates where Wenger's men grabbed a winning start from the jaws of defeat on a 7-goal thriller. Arsenal came from behind to seal a 4:3 win from the dangerous Leicester city.
The following day was a disappointment as Liverpool were held 3:3 at watford. Liverpool also came from behind twice. New signing Muhammad salah was impressive and and shows his worth by scoring a goal that gave Liverpool the lead. As the clock ticks by it was looking like Liverpool would take all the three points until a nightmare corner at the 93rd minute was giving to watford, Bristos heading it home to save the day for Marco Silva. It ended 3:3 for Liverpool, a point at least.....
Trouble at the nest of the champions. With Chelsea receiving their fourth red cards in the last three competitive matches. Sorry to say this (Chelsea fans) but Chelsea were thoroughly embarrassed at home by Burnley. An early red came for the blues at the 14th minute which gave the visitors an early advantage to trail 3 nill. Cesc also received his second yellow card of the day. New critized signing Morata kinda silence his critics(for Now) by scoring and assisting David luiz to give Chelsea some hope. Upon seeing that Antonio conte went desperate, "crazy"(as usual) for the third goal, which never came. So it ended 2 for the blues,3 for Burnley at the Stamford Bridge.
All was well for pep guardiola as Manchester City snatched the three points from a 2 0 victory at Brighton and hove Albion's. The Pl new comers received huge applause from their fans for being able to hold city 70 minutes when Sergio aguero broke the deadlock and followed an own goal from Brighton's defender J. Dunk. It finished 2:0 for pep guardiola and his team.
United found it even more easier as lukaku scored a brace and Anthony martial coming off the bench to score and set up one for pogba. No worries for mourinho this time with his team now sitting on top of epl table by goal difference. The question is will they last their? Let me hear from you guys.keep the conversation going..
As said earlier it was an exciting weekend even though not for (Chelsea and Co), all the top new Straikers have now scored for their respective clubs. (Lacazette, salah, Morata, Rooney, lukaku)
